NEW OFFICIAL SINGLE BY NE-YO

Ne-Yo stated officially on his blog YearOfTheGentleman.com that his new single is titled "Miss Independent". The song is an equisite summer jam put forth by one of the best in the game. The track compliments Ne-Yo's voice, vocal arrangements, direction, and lyrics. The song also shows his new intended direction with his album. Ne-Yo penned and rocked a winner with this song... Hopefully "Miss Independent" will carry Ne-Yo to a grand amount of sales his 1st week of sales: August 5th!!!

Ne-Yo's Album Pushed Back

Ne-Yo's 'Year of the Gentleman' album wont be coming out in June... Its been pushed back to August 5th. Some say its because of the poor reception of the LP's first single "Closer"... which has only made it to #54, as the top position. Def Jam surely wants a single in the top 10 for the release. Both previous albums, "In My Own Words" and "Because of You" debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 charts. Hopefully Ne-Yo comes out with a smash hit this summer... He can't fall off... He has to compete with Usher's new album, 'Here I Stand', out May 27th, and Chris Brown's Re-release, 'Exclusive: The Forever Edition', out at the beginning of June.

Ne-Yo's new video, "Closer," is the ishhh. The video has an awesome Michael Jackson flare. The director seemed to have an awesome concept for how to integrate the lyrics and the slick moves of Ne-Yo. His upcoming album, 'Year of the Gentleman', is slated for a late June release. This album is seeming like a sure-fire winner. We can't wait for this album!!! Anyways, watch the video... and see how Ne-Yo is coming at Usher & Chris Brown. He's gutta show that he is still in the entertaining game, too!

Rihanna & Ne-Yo: "Hate That I Love You"

I Know what most of you are thinking... this song isn't exactly NEW. The reason why we're posting this is to let you guys download the song and to get ready for the video. The "Hate That I Love You" video should be premiering within the next two weeks. When it has premiered, you know we'll have it up. Anyway, this song is a great duet for the two. Their voices complement eachother with the aid of the very Sexy Love-ish beat, which makes the song interesting. Our overall opinion on the song is an 8.0/10.0. Still a good download. I recommend it.
