Brandon Hines has a NEW song! His track is titled "Look Me in My Face." This song has a semi-slow, medolic beat. His voice is very on-key and is projected just the right amount. He uses his voice in a much more mature way than his previous songs, in our opinion. The lyrics are also very well written. I'd like to find out who penned the lyrics and who the mastermind to the subtle-yet-intriguing beat is. In previous songs, it seems like Mr. Hines killed, in a bad way, his songs with the bridge... and the lack of an interesting hook.
This track should be Brandon Hines first real single. I can picture a hott remix with a rapper like Lil Wayne (beginning right after the bridge) or Kanye West. Even a rapper like Common would put a great spin on the song. If Kanye was featured they should speed the song up a little bit for the remix. We give this song a 8.3 on a 10.0 scale.
